Sorry I haven't blogged in over two weeks. I had an okay spring break, I mostly stayed at home and slept or did things on the internet. I got some much needed work done on the next two espisodes of our machinimal. Before we left for break John and I (mostly I) finished another episode. Episode two "Who's got the Button?" is done and can be found on the Videos page.

I also finished Episode A (the third Episode) "Get on with the Scene" just after coming back on monday and it turned out better than I expected even if it wasn't as good as I hoped. We filmed it at the same time as episode 2 so I've actually worked on it for over 5 weeks. That might seem like a long time, and I would have to agree. I was very disapointed by the time it took. On the first week I got all the video edited, and I think the second week we didn't do anything becuase of voice actor conflicts. On the third week we got four of the five characters voiced but we really had no clue who we could get to play the last one. On the fourth week I tried to get the courage to ask Tracy to do it, but never did and decided against it. The fifth week was spring break and I thought it would a perfect opportunity to get a high schooler to do it, but they had the play (which was really good) and that bombed. Luckily for me Amber started her spring break last weekend and she was more than happy to do it. We recorded her monday and she did a REALLY good job. Out of the video the two best actors were me and her. Don't get me started on John's performance, he just didn't have the experience to read those kinds of lines.

Episode 4 is moving along, we recorded the video about two weeks ago and with spring break I had to adjust the two week schedule (I want us to release an episode every two weeks) . The video editing and some of the audio is already done but I need to get the rest of the audio this weekend or I feel we will fall even farther behind in production. We're already Far FAR behind with set backs and conflicts. I may adjust the schedule even more, so we can get as many episodes done before we all leave for summer break. My plan is to record both the audio for episode 4 and the video for episode 5 this weekend and finish episode 4 and the video editing for episode 5 next week. Then next weekend we record audio for episode 5 and video for episode 6 and so on... Hopely with this schedule we can get up till episode 8 or 9 before the end of the year. The series ends around episode 13 or 14 but I'm only one man and I can only do so much.

Oh! I found this cool... um, thing online that lets me create backgrounds with Halo 2 pics and cool effects. Right now I've made a few backgrounds with the characters from the show. If you want a background for any of the following :Duke, Leo, Boneless, Karrde, Krystal, or Scarifice just ask and you shall receive! If you want something custom I can probably work something out.

That's all I really have to say, I'm gonna find something else to do all day.
